Monuments
The installations was developed and realized for a three-month public exhibition under the theme “Forgetting”. They have been conceptualized and coordinated, together with the curator of the museum, and students from the University. The collaboration has stemmed from the intention of the museum to introduce digital and interactive content. The exhibition’s topic was guiding the reflections and the projects development, but the general approach was centered on creating a holistic, user-friendly experience for every installation.
“Monuments allows” users to built their own sculptures or monu”-ments from objects made obsolete by digitalization. Visitors picka building spot and then go around discovering and collecting items for their AR construction. “The Portal of Remembrance” immerses users inside a virtual space, marked by the portal. the physical space is an abstraction of the digital one, where visitors get to dissolve space items, as a nod to the notion of time.
